IUT Academic Affairs prepares and prepares and proposes different  aducational regulations in collabration with respective officials. Its aim are to develop and propose principles of university academic plans, to monitor their performances after approval and to evaluate the academic progress of the students. Other duties of this office are studying and adopting decisions on academic issues and regulating the curriculum and exam programs.

The office also has the responsibilities of supervising the academic regulations and monitoring the entrance Ph.D. exam which are held at the university departments.
